We are not provided any solid reason for the rejection of our appeals. Only the media report of "The World News" was the mainly presented as a proof against us. Hearing was very good & fair and our lawyers were very hopeful that we will get our desired result. But the decision was totally unexpected. Both Salman Butt and Muhammad Aamir was talking to press. Cricketers were very upset with the decision and they also added that they are totally fair in cricket, we are punished just because we are Pakistani. They claimed that the decision was pre-decided and not based on facts and according to the hearing. Both asked help from PCB in this matter.
On the other side chairman PCB Mr. Ijaz Butt said board is not supporting financial help to suspended cricketer as per ICC policies. The names of Salman Butt and Muhammad Aamir are also been disqualified from Central Contract of PCB. Remember Salman Butt was in "A" category with almost 0.25 million monthly income and Muhammad Aamir was in "C" category with 0.15 million monthly income. Mr. Ijaz Butt also said that the Initial possible 30 players for the world cup 2011 will announce on 30th November and suspended players will not the part of the team unless they get clearance from ICC.
Ihsan Mani said it is not ICC but PCB is the enemy of Pakistan Cricket. The reputation of PCB is losing just because of the poor decision of only 1 person. What is the condition of PCB that Zimbabwe Cricket Board is asked to monitor the cricketing matters in Pakistan? you can guess the situation with the above. We need to do some tasks for the betterment of cricket in Pakistan on urgent basis. If not the Cricket in Pakistan will suffer a lot.
