Wahab Riaz is a conditional choice after clearance of his fitness. Imran Farhat is dropped out due to lack of his form.
Top recent form of Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik in Domestic Tournament was not enough to get into any side. Another amazing decision is about Muhammad Yousaf who is not considered even in Test series. Daneesh Kaneria is also left out of squad.

4 more cricketers are spot fixers

According to a News Channel of Pakistan, which has a new video of Mazhar Majeed, 4 more Pakistan cricketers are spot fixers. Mazhar Majeed claimed in that video that along with Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Aamir four more cricketers are his partners in spot fixing. Their names are Wahab Riaz, Kamarn Akmal, Umar Akmal and Imran Farhat.

Remember folks, this video is of Mazhar Majeed and he is not a well reputed man, so we can not consider his statement true.

Aleem Dar defeated technology

Aleem Darr's decisions in recent Ashes clearly showed that he is an excellent empire of the recent cricket world and he is capable to defeat modern technologies used in the cricket for reviewing. His decisions were challenged by English and Australians in 1st test match of Ashes almost 6 times but every time his decision found correct by reviewing with help of modern high tech system.
This series is a crucial series for both of teams which is mostly awaited after the ICC world cup and a single wrong decision could turn the table around. Aleem Darr in this very much difficult and under pressure situation proved that he is a top level empire of the world and truly a right person and choice for the Best Empire of the year. Australian media wrote and former cricketers of Australia gave compliments to Aleem Darr for his accurate decisions.

Another Draw for Pakistan

Pakistan have drawn the test match and series against South Africa with recent good form of Captain Misbah ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Younas Khan, Tofeeq Umar, Muhammad Hafeez and Asad Shafique. Also some non regular batsman showed good temperament like Abdul Rehman, Tanveer Ahmad. Man of Match was AB De Villiars and Man of Series was Kallis.

In the test series Pakistan have shown very good batting technique and useful skills to defeat the bowling attack of South Africa. One more thing is that Pakistan never went on back foot or defensive cricket. All the players played according to the merit and their natural game with very much positive attitude. They looked never confused or in bit hurry as in the near past test matches. This is good sign for Pakistan team.

After this series Pakistan team have to tour Newzealand which will be the last tour before the World Cup 2011. Pakistan have learnt much in this series which might be very useful in the future series.

Pakistan Coach Waqar Younas asked that there should be 3 teams for the three format of cricket. There are many player who are not fit for all types of format so this is much better that according to the game plan we should have different teams for T20, One Day and Test.
This is very good idea in the current situation of Pakistan Cricket Team, in this way Pakistan can produce much talent according to the game type. Like you can not consider Misbah ul Haq, Muhammad Yousaf, Azhar Ali and Tofeeq Omar for T20 or might be not for ODI's. , but these players are wonderful in test matches. Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Abdul Razaq are very good in T20 and ODI but not useful in tests. Same in bowling Shoaib Akhtar, Daneesh Kaneria, Muhammad Sami, Saeed Ajmal, Abdul Rehman are not the bowlers for every type of games. So this is a great idea to pick a player for a game in which he can perform better.

Excellent Performance by Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal

• PIA’s all rounder Shoaib Malik (Captain) scored 102 against Sialkot.
• Wicket Keeper Captain of National Bank Kamran Akmal played an inning of 132 against Faisalabad.
• Abdul Razzaq and Imran Nazir of ZTBL made fifties while playing against Multan.
• Rana Naveed of State Bank grasp 5 wicket in bags of Queta.
• For the practical implementation of Code of Conduct Laws in Domestic Cricket, PCB arranged special lectures on New Code of Conduct Rules, Doping and other issue for U16 kids.
• Medical Commission have declared Sohail Tanveer fit for the cricket.

Another gold medal in Asian Games

Pakistan cricket is looking for another Gold Medal in Asian Games after the success of Women Cricket Team. Pakistan men's team defeated China by a huge margin of 128 runs in Asian Games T20 Tournament and got a place in to the semi-finals. Captain Khalid Latif made 103* on 69 balls. Other opener Sharjeel Khan made 46 runs and set a target 183 for 1 wicket. In reply the new born baby of cricket China could only made 55 runs. Raza Hassan and Izaz Cheema shared 3, 3 wickets each. On 25th November Pakistan will face Afghanistan in semi-final.

Was the match fixed in T20 World Cup?

ICC was investigating a match between South Africa and Pakistan in last T20 world cup at West Indies. ICC said that we have some proofs against Pakistan Cricketers who were involved in spot fixing in that match. Remember Pakistan won that match by 11 runs. The names of these cricketers are Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt. Salman Butt is already suspended due to another spot fixing issue in England. ICC checked all the call records of both players during this time period and also interrogated the players.

After couple of days, ICC cleared both of players in the spot fixing allegations related to that match by saying there are not any evidences which proves that Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal were involved in spot fixing in that particular match. PCB, Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt are also informed by emails and other written documents from ICC about the clearances.

According to the some former Pakistan Cricketers ICC is going to Ban some players of Pakistan for life time in the match/spot fixing, after receiving critical statement of players and their lawyers.

ICC has formed 3 members tribunal including Micheal Bellof for hearing the spot fixing matter of Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Aamir. Which will hear the case in January 2011. ICC is very much serious in this matter and taking serious steps in removing spot/match fixing from cricket. ICC might call "The News of World" famous newspaper of England who broke the story of spot fixing of Pakistan Players with Majeed Zafar, in that hearing. The lawyers of Salman Butt and Muhammad Amir are not happy with the Micheal Bellof in the tribunal. They have criticized this decision on some forums and in media. ICC is not taking this as good and legal firm of ICC is trying to sure that the proofs against players are much for announcing the punishment.

Some unofficial news state that Pakistan players might not get criminal charges but they will surely get life time ban from the ICC.

Muhammad Aamir is offered to become the approver in this matter and he will ban for only two years, after which he may carry on his carrier as a cricketer. Some of his well wishers are also saying to him that he will get benefit of doubt as the proofs against them are not enough so don't do any silly thing like becoming an approver against his friends cricketers.

Increase in the list of injuries

Wahab Riaz is the new injured player in the test team of Pakistan. He is sending back to home and till the last news no one called as back up by the team management at Dubai. Muhammad Sami might be in second test as the quick bowler in replacement of Wahab Riaz who showed a better bowling and batting performance in the ODI and first inning of 1st test match against South Africans.

Eid ul Adha of Pakistan Team

Pakistan team is celebrating his Eid ul Adha at Dubai. Remember at Eid ul Fitar Pakistan team was busy in England tour, so in this year Pakistan cricketers didn't spend their both Eid celebrations with their family members or their friends.

Pakistan cricketers offered their Eid prayer at Dubai Rashid Hospital's Masjid. Team manager Intakhab Aalam, Misbah ul Haq, Muhammad Sami, Muhammad Hafeez, Akmal Brothers, Azhar Ali, Asad Shaffique, Saeed Ajmal, Imran Farhat with Assistant Manager Shahid Aslam, Security Officer Maj. Khawaja Najam and Analyst Muhammad Talha were there at Masjid. South African Muslim Player Hashim Amla with his team manager Mosa G, Manager Logistic Ghulam Raja and Security Officer Muhammad Junaid were also present in the Masjid for their Eid prayer.

Pakistan came back strongly on 5th Day at Dubai

Pakistan fought back on 5th day of 1st Test against South Africa, Younas Khan's ton lead to draw the match. Today is the day of Younas Khan, he played excellently and the good thing about his inning is he never thought of defensive or negative cricket. He played his natural game and whenever he got a ball and smash it to the boundary. Partnerships with Azhar Ali and Misbah ul-Haq were good enough to safe the match.

Good points of this match are the brilliant batting of Azhar Ali who made 50's in both innings and came back inning of Captain Misbah ul Haq. He also played really well. Pakistan showed maturity in his total second inning.

In the end Younas is declared man of Match for his 131* inning which include 9 fours and 4 sixes.

1st Test against South Africa (Day 2 & Day 3)

Pakistan is most uncertain team in the world, on start of day 2 of 1st test Omar Gull gave a great advantage to his team by taking 3 quick wickets including 2 strong batsman i.e. De Villiars and Prince. After these wickets Saeed Ajmal dismissed Kallis and Abdul Rehman restricted South Africa to 380 just adding 69 total runs in 1st day's total 311.
After this Pakistan batting kept their nerves in control and gave a splendid opening stand of 105. Both the openers Muhammad Hafeez and Tofeeq Umar gave excellent performance not only to able survive but also maintained a good scoring rate. On 111 Tofeeq Umar was IBW by Morkel and new batsman Azhar Ali and Younas Khan kept playing their positive game. At that time it was looking that Pakistan will able to take lead on South Africa.
On third morning after the dismissal of Younas Khan no one is able to play South Africa good bowling and Pakistan inning is ended on 248 runs. Azhar Ali made 56 runs and only two batsman were able to enter in double figures i.e Adnan Akmal 10 and Umar Gull 12. In this way not only Pakistan lost an opportunity to take lead but also i think lost the match.
In 2nd inning of South Africa batsmen like Smith, Amla and Kallis are looking to capitalize the advantage of lead and looking forward to give almost 400+ target to chase. Which might be a very good total for the Pakistan team.

Ist Test against South Africa (Day One)

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in the First Test against Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium which is 101th test venue for cricket.
Pakistan team is consist of Tofeeq Umar, Muhammad Hafeez, Younas Khan, Azhar Ali, Misbah ul Haq, Umar Akmal, Adnan Akmal, Abdul Rehman, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gull.
GC Smith, Peterson, Amla, Kallis, AB De Villiars, AG Prince, Boucher, Botha, Harris, Styen, and M. Morkel are in South Africa Side.
Adnan Akmal debuted in the match and become the third brother who have played for Pakistan after Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal.
Wicket was flat and slow. Pakistan bowlers were struggle a lot and Pakistan ground fielding also was not good enough to stop South Africans making runs. South Africa posted 311 for 3 on the board including Smith 100, 67 Peterson, 80 Amla and 53* by Kallis.
This is the day of South Africa. Tomorrow Pakistan have to rethink his planning to restrict South Africa to minimum score.

Muhammad Yousaf is injured

Muhammad Yousaf is coming back home due to groin injury. He is not fit enough to play in test series against South Africa and this is a major set back for our team, said by team manager Intakhab Aalam. His injury will take two weeks to heal and we are not calling any backup for now. He is very much needed batsman in test series and we missed him.

New Test Captain of Pakistan Misbah ul Haq

Misbah is new test captain of Pakistan cricket team after Younas Khan, Muhammad Yousaf, Shahid Afridi and Salman Butt. Misbah is seeking his form in batting and Pakistan team is currently surrounded by different problems inc

luding match fixing scandal, wicket keeper batsman Zulqernain Haider’s controversial statements and disappearance and other issues. Pakistan is not provided the services of Muhammad Aamir and Muhammad Asif which were the best bowlers in recent past for the team. Salman Butt is also missing in opening due to suspension in cricket by ICC for the match fixing probe. On the other hand PCB is not allowing Daneesh Kaneria (Leg break bowler) and wicket keeper batsman Kamran Akmal to play in the side due to some pressure by ICC. ICC was suspecting them in match fixing and not happy to see them in Pakistan Team.

In this scenario it is big task for Misbah to win test series. He made 1008 runs in test. In recent ODI series Misbah could only make 31 runs and after that he was dropped out of final eleven in the last 3 ODIs.

Pakistan won his last test series against West Indies in 2006. After that Pakistan lost 2 series against South Africa, 1 each against India, Sri Lanka, Australia and England. Pakistan was only able to draw 1 each series against Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka during this 4 years. This record doest not look impressive and Pakistan Cricket Team’s fans are not very much positive with the results against South Africa. Cricket gurus and former cricketers are not giving priority to any team. Pakistan team in ICC Test Ranking is on 4^th and South Africa is on 2^nd place.

South Africa Coach is noticed by PCB

PCB have sent court notice to South African Coach Micky Arthor and asked him to explain in 7 days why he blamed Pakistan Cricket Team as a fixer in a match of 2007 series, other wise PCB and Pakistan Cricketers have rights to go to the court for the case.
Micky Arthor took U-turn after this notice and said i didn't mean to say what is drived from my statement. Some news are there, that Micky gave these statement to sell to promote the sale of his biography.

For the first time PCB played a shot after 4 months of defensive play, Good luck PCB and Pakistan Cricketers.

Adnan Akmal will keep the wickets in TESTs

Adnan Akmal was called in replacement of Zulqernain to National Pakistan Cricket Team to join the test squad against South Africa along with Muhammad Hafeez and Younas Khan because of their good performance in ODI. Initially Muhammad Hafeez and Younas Khan was not the part of team announced for the 2 Test Matches against South Africa.
Adnan Akmal was in Rawalpindi for the match of Quaid-e-Azam trophy with his team "Sui Gas" when he was asked to reach at Lahore for the completion of his papers to travel. Adnan Akmal is a brother of Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal.
It is also in news that Kamran Akmal is also fit but he is not asked to join the team as his name is in the match fixing issue. ICC is not happy to keep players in the team which directly, indirectly or whose names are in this scandal in any way. This policy is damaging Pakistan Cricket, as Pakistan had already lost his 3 major players Salman Butt, Muhammad Aamir, Muhammad Asif. After that Kaneria and Kamran Akmal also droped out from team due to some precautions. On the other hand ICC did not investigate the matter related to Suresh Riana (Indian Cricketer). Is this not a dual policy?

Kaneria not cleared by PCB

PCB did not allow Deneesh Kaneria to fly to Dubai for the Test Series against South Africa, while other cricketers including Muhammad Yousaf joined the team. According to some unofficial news that ICC was not satisfied with the Kaneria as he was once suspected in match fixing scandal.
According to team manager Intakhab Aalam we will not call backup spinner as we have 2 spinners already in team i.e. Saeed Ajmal and Abdul Rehman.

Pakistan Lost Final Against South Africa

South Africa won the final against Pakistan with 57 runs. Kalis showed his super class and made 83 runs and took 3 wicket and in the end got "Man of Match". South Africa put 317 runs on the board with some excellent performances by Amla 62, De Villiars 61 and Dumminy 59.
In reply Pakistan started well and made 82 runs in opening partnership. Shahzed Hassan was able to make 39, Hafeez made 59, Omar Akmal 60 and Abdul Razzaq was able to make 39 runs. Shahid Afridi tried to create some difference in his 24 on 25 balls but in the end he made mistake as usual and left the team in a critical situation.

Asad Shaffiqe was sacrificed

Asad Shaffiqe was sacrificed in Last ODI for Muhammad Yousaf. It was previously stated by Team Manager that Muhammad Yousaf will not be the part of ODI team but on the day he was entered in the team in place of Asad Shaffiq, who was the one of best batsman in the team which were scoring regularly. I think this cost Pakistan in the end as Pakistan lost the match and Muhammad Yousaf who just joined the team was only able to score 3. Muhammad Yousaf did not have T-Shirt for the ODI and he wore a T-Shirt with the name written by hands on the final ODI. These kinds of mistakes can not take Pakistan up, but only demoralize young talented players.

Is Zulqernain seeking asylum?

In his first and only statement after arriving at England Zulqernain has told that he can not tell what kind of threats he got from unidentified persons as he is afraid about his family protection. He said these threats forced him to retire and come to England for his safety. He asked to help his family back at Pakistan. He said that he got his passport from Team Management by saying that he want to buy a "mobile sim". In the reply of "Why you didn't tell team management about these threats as you are bound to tell them as per code of conduct?" I think that would be worse for me and for my family and i did what i think is right for me, my family and my country. My country is like my mother i cant sell my country and cant do what was asked to do in 5th ODI. He added that he has only his daily salary in his pocket as he arrived at England, which i had spent on fare and my accommodation. Immigration Authorities were very good with me, i have visited England many times for the county cricket and i have a valid visa for the England. Immigration Authorities asked me to hire a lawyer which i could afford at now. Zulqernain did not confirm that he is seeking "asylum" in England. He also did not contact to Pakistan High Commissioner at England.
On the other side ICC and PCB are very angry with the action of Zulqernain and both are looking to emboss Life Time Ban on Zulqernain Haider.
According to former test cricketers of Pakistan, Zulqernain is only seeking "asylum" in England and he is not a class player that he could receive offers or threats of Match Fixing. He can't take Pakistan Cricket Team on Victory stand with his performance. In current team only, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq are key player which can be very useful for the match fixers. They refused to agree upon the statement given by Zulqernain.

Missing Zulqernain?

Bad news are always behind Pakistan Cricket Team, In the morning before the Final Match between Pakistan and South Africa, wicket keeper Mr. Zulqernain found missing from his room. No one knew about him where is he actually. After some time he left his message on his "Face Book" that he was threatened by some match fixer and he left the team for England. He is at England's Heathrow Airport now, but he didn't come out of immigration lounge till last news. What is the actual matter behind all this its a mystery. May be tomorrow will be a very hectic day for PCB and Pakistan Cricket Team as well as Pakistan Cricket Fans.

Fawad, Razaq and ShoaibAkhtar were noticed

Show cause notice was issued to Fawad Aalam, Razaq and Shoaib Akhtar after the implementation of new code of conduct. They were asked to send reply to cricket board by new team manager Intakhab Aalam.

Razzaq was noticed on the statement in his press conference that I was not properly used by ex-captains and coaches. Razzaq was asked to be careful in future in giving statement about captain and coach. Shoaib Akhtar and Fawad Aalam were committed to breach the curfew timing.

Rapid fire on Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi in press conference was on target of journalists and their camera men. It was the first time that in a conference camera men were also questioning to the captain. A journalist put aside all respect and code of conference and asked 6 question in a row to Afridi but Afridi reply most of questions in a sentence. There was an interesting situation when a journalist asked on which number you would like to play? Afridi replied you tell me on which number I will go.

Why Misbah ul Haq was not playing? Another question was asked by a journalist. “Because he is not in the team” this was the reply of Shahid Afridi:)

Tense Victory in 4th ODI

A good victory and an example of team work in 4^th ODI was shown by Pakistan to equalize the series with 2-2. Now the final match will be the decider of the series. Better technique was expressed in batting by Pakistan, specially by Muhammad Hafeez-42, Asad Shifaque-36, Younas Khan-73, Afridi-29, Razzaq-33 and Wahab Riaz-18. That was a pure entertainment till the last. We enjoyed the cricket a lot and this match will be remembered for a long period. An interesting thing is the fielding of South Africa in the last overs. That was question mark in the last 2 matches as top fielding side South Africa dropped some important catches in the last overs which costs them.

I think there should be 2 changes for the last match, you can take a risk on Misbah as batsman and Umar Akmal as wicket keeper batsman in replacement of Fawad Aalam and Zulqernain.

South Africa set a target of 275 for Pakistan

Dubai.......South Africa scored 274/6 in 50 overs. G Smith 92 and AB De Villiers 49 were top scorers. Shoaib Akhtar, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Hafeez shared 2, 2 wickets each. In the end Botha and Ingram added quick runs to the total in batting power play.

Pakistan will remain on 6th Place in ODI Ranking

Pakistan have lost the chance to get a one place up i.e 5th after losing the 3rd ODI against South Africa. Pakistan is on 6th place and he was get down to 7th for time being. If Pakistan could beat South Africa in the 5 ODI series with 4-1 Pakistan would get 5th Place. Now Pakistan can get ranking points if he wins couple of ODI but he will have to stay at No. 6 spot.

Pakistan will play 4th ODI

Pakistan will play 4th ODI against South Africa in 5 ODI series on tomorrow. South Africa is in lead with 2-1 and he is ready to win the series. Pakistan will try to equalize the series. This ODI will be played in Dubai under artificial lights.
Shahid Afridi Said, That we will take this match with positive approach and will try to win the match with solid planing. Our first priority is to level the series after which we will try our hard to win the series with 3-2. Pakistan will give rest to Saeed Ajmal after his performance in the 3rd ODI and Abdul Rehman will replace him. He also said that after the poor performance it was decided to drop Misbah ul Haq in 3rd ODI. Omar Akmal is not fit so he is not in the final eleven. We played good but our fielding was not upto mark. We can easily save 25-30 runs by good fielding and we did not bat well on that day. Fawad was good and he tried to win the match but unfortunately he did not succeeded. He also praised Wahab Riaz for his bowling.

The view of general public is different from Captain Shahid Afridi. People consider Fawad Aalam responsible for losing the match. He was not supposed to take single in the last over. He had to take chance by his own.

Anyhow lets hope for the best in 4th ODI.

Muhammad Yousaf is Fit

Muhammad Yousaf is ready to play test series against South Africa. He said that he is fit and start training for the cricket. Muhammad Yousaf was droped from the T20 and OCI squad after his injury but he is now ready to become part of Test Team. He is getting training under the supervision of doctors and trainers of National Cricket Academy. According to these doctors and trainers Muhammad Yousaf is enough fit the the cricket.

Butt-Aamir's reaction after rejection of their appeal

We are not provided any solid reason for the rejection of our appeals. Only the media report of "The World News" was the mainly presented as a proof against us. Hearing was very good & fair and our lawyers were very hopeful that we will get our desired result. But the decision was totally unexpected. Both Salman Butt and Muhammad Aamir was talking to press. Cricketers were very upset with the decision and they also added that they are totally fair in cricket, we are punished just because we are Pakistani. They claimed that the decision was pre-decided and not based on facts and according to the hearing. Both asked help from PCB in this matter.
On the other side chairman PCB Mr. Ijaz Butt said board is not supporting financial help to suspended cricketer as per ICC policies. The names of Salman Butt and Muhammad Aamir are also been disqualified from Central Contract of PCB. Remember Salman Butt was in "A" category with almost 0.25 million monthly income and Muhammad Aamir was in "C" category with 0.15 million monthly income. Mr. Ijaz Butt also said that the Initial possible 30 players for the world cup 2011 will announce on 30th November and suspended players will not the part of the team unless they get clearance from ICC.
Ihsan Mani said it is not ICC but PCB is the enemy of Pakistan Cricket. The reputation of PCB is losing just because of the poor decision of only 1 person. What is the condition of PCB that Zimbabwe Cricket Board is asked to monitor the cricketing matters in Pakistan? you can guess the situation with the above. We need to do some tasks for the betterment of cricket in Pakistan on urgent basis. If not the Cricket in Pakistan will suffer a lot.

Razzaq after marvelous inning

We needed a desperate victory and now we are back on track, said Abdul Razaq in a press conference after his miraculous inning against South Africa. He added that the inning was "Do or Die" for me as i was supposed to drop out of the team if i failed in that inning. I was not used accurately by the captains in past 5 years and putt me in constant pressure, but Shahid Afridi is a very good captain with a positive thinking, a quick learner and a fast friend of me. He gave me support & confidence. If he continuously maintain this spirit in team, we will take Pakistan in top cricket sides. I want to thank my Allah that i was able to play such an inning which gave Pakistan team a real boost. When i entered in the ground Pakistan was on 136/5 and we needed 151 runs in 20 overs. I knew that only big hits can give us victory so i tried my hard. After the dismissal of Saeed Ajmal i was under a tremendous pressure but i never lost hope and by the will of Allah snatched a victory through South Africa. Remember Abdul Razaq played an great inning of 109* with 10 sixes and 7 fours.
Abdul Razaq thanked to his fans and said please pray for Pakistan and never criticized the team in current situation of the team. In spite of that we need moral support from the spectators and Pakistan media.

South Africa beat Pakistan by only 2 runs

Pakistan lost 3rd ODI by 2 runs against South Africa. Its was an interesting match but the end was not in favor of Pakistan. Fawad Aalam tried hard to give a lead in the series to Pakistan. Although South Africa's players showed lapses in field in last few overs but got the result and took the match away from Pakistan. Hashim Amla 119* was the top scorer in the match.

Exceptional inning of Abdul Razak gave victory to Pakistan

An smashing inning of 109 not out on just 72 bowls with 10 sixes was just played by Abdul Razaq at Abu-Zahbi which gave a victory to Pakistan cricket team by 1 wicket over South Africa. This victory was needed by team for a long period. Breathtaking match was ended on 2nd last bowl with a 4 by Razaq. This awesome inning will be remembered for a very long time. Shahid Afridi also contributed 49 runs on 40 bowls in the victory of Pakistan.
